Design guidelines add value to a community's built environment by ensuring well-designed buildings, attractive and useful improvements, appealing facades, and cohesiveness. Guidelines can apply to a variety of elements - lighting, signage, basketball hoops, concrete, paint colors, transit shelters, benches, sidewalks, public spaces, parking, etc. The design guidelines are an extension of the CC&R's.
